Discord Configuration

The acceptance bot requires a web hook within your Discord server to function. Follow the steps below to set one up

  1. Navigate to the channel you'd like the acceptance announcements to be posted in and click the gear icon on the right side of the channel title.

  2. Select the "integrations" option from the menu on the left of the pop up window.

  3. Select the "webhooks" section and create a new webhook.

  4. You can customize the name and picture for this webhook here, then select the channel you've created for the acceptance posts.

  5. Finally, click "Copy Webhook URL" and provide the link using privnote. This is a service that automatically purges message content after being viewed once. Send the link to the privnote in the Slack group.
